    Please join us for the Weiss High School Open House:

    • Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2019  
    • 6 – 8 p.m.
    • This will be a Come-and-Go event.


    Come and meet the teachers and learn some valuable information.

    We will offer these information sessions:

    1. AP & PreAP ~ a brief guide to these programs (6:15 & 7:00 – Library Computer Lab)
    2. Texas High School Graduation Plans ~ find out about Pathways & Endorsements (6:30 & 7:15 ~ F110)
    3. High School 101 ~ the expectations of high school years – credits, attendance, transcripts, GPA, and more ~( 7:00 PM ~ PAC)
    4. ACC Dual Credit Coursework ~ an overview of dual credit processes ~ (6:45 & 7:30 ~ Library)
    5. College 101 ~ a brief guide to the college application process (6:15 & 7:15 ~ CCC ~ F103)

  • A New School Year

    Welcome to the 2019-2020 School Year – the year we graduate our first senior class!

    Exciting times are upon us. I can report a great start to the year. Oh, how we have grown! And, we continue to do so. Please know as we continue to register students, we are leveling classes and trying to get all students in the right place. 

    Our Assistant Principals have started Class Talks this week and are teaching and reminding our students about our high expectations for all. 

    We will soon begin our Power Hour. Please ask you student the expectations of Power Hour. It is a unique privilege and it is much more than lunchtime for students. We want all students to take responsibility for their learning, and get the support that they need during this time. They can access their teachers for extra help, complete make-up work and classroom projects, or have a study group to prepare for a test. They are expected to grab lunch and take care of business.

    Our young people are already hard at work, or are already in competitions: Cross Country, Tennis, Volleyball, Football, and our Wolf Band & Scarlets Dance Team. Others gearing up are Theatre, Swimming, and Golf. We appreciate all of our coaches and leaders for creating a safe, exciting, and fun experience for our Wolf Pack. 


    Senior Celebration

    Parents of the Class of 2020: Senior Celebration is in the works!

    Friends of Weiss and a committee of Senior Parents invite you to be a part of, and support the efforts to make this a great event.
