Field Day
It was the coldest Field Day in the history of Field Days (as anyone on campus could remember), but it was a great one. The cold did not slow the kids down or keep them from having a blast. Thank you to Mrs. Craft, Mrs. Malinowski, and Mrs. Lucas and all of you that volunteered and donated items to make this day a great success!
Eat, Sleep, Art
Murchison has 45 student artworks displayed at Pflugerville's 12th annual student art show. See the show at the Pflugerville Recreation Center from April 25-May 9.
Trifecta Event
All Murchison students will have a piece of artwork displayed at Murchison on the evening of May 9th at the "Trifecta". The "Trifecta" is a collaborative event the combines the Book Fair, an Art Gallery Night, and a performance by the Murchison Choir. The event is scheduled for May 9, 6:00-7:30.
Shoparoo
Shoparoo is a free app that turns your grocery receipts into Murchison donations while providing you with rewards. Get the app, choose Murchison and take a picture of your grocery receipts…that is it!
SPA – Spring Parent Academy
Parenting is a challenge that you don’t have to face alone. Join us May 20, 6 – 8 PM for SPA. Spring Parent Academy is convention for parents on how to best serve you students over the summer as well as just great parenting tips. There will be a wide range of topics to choose from. Attend one session or all three, you choose based on the needs of you and your child.
Counselor’s Corner
Next week, counseling lessons will focus on friendship. We will be discussing qualities the students look for in friends and how they, themselves, can be a good friend to others.
