Welcome to Spring Hill Elementary!

At Spring Hill, we believe in working together to meet our goals.   It is the relationship between the family and the school that helps children be successful. We are a community school and we welcome our families to be involved with us in preparing our children for their future.

The goal at Spring Hill is for every child to make one year's growth, and we are meeting those goals every year. Spring Hill Elementary is fortunate to be one of several PISD schools to be part of a pilot program with the National Institute for Excellence in Teaching.  Teachers continue their ongoing professional development to increase our teaching effectiveness in the classrooms.

At the beginning of this year, our staff read The Important Book, by Margaret Wise Brown.  I would like to share the page that we created for Spring Hill:

The Important Thing

The important thing about Spring Hill is that

it takes ownership of each student's learning.

It is family oriented.

It has a strong sense of community,

and it looks like a team.

It makes you feel accepted.

It is true that it is diverse

and is always welcoming.

There are always lots of smiling faces,

and sounds like children laughing and learning.

But the important thing about Spring Hill is that

it takes ownership of each student's learning.

We welcome you to visit us at Spring Hill!  Have a great year,
