*Parents, your child has PE every other day. They need to have closed toe shoes to participate in PE.

*Discovery Fruit & Veggie: Each month, the food service offers a different/unique fruit or vegetable for the students to try. Here is some information about this month’s fruit/veggie. Hope you try it at home, too.

Art fun with Mrs. Bates

Welcome to a new year of wonderful creativity! We have the opportunity to use a company called Original Works to have student artwork printed on water bottles, sketch books, note cards, pillow cases, and many other options. You will have the opportunity to see what these will look like at Open House (Sept 21). We will be celebrating beautiful artworks by hanging them in the halls very soon! Every six weeks a new group of artists will be honored by featuring their work in our hallways. Look for "Artist of the Six Weeks" Certificates and ask your kids if they have been chosen yet. It may take the whole year, but every Windermere student will get their turn to be a featured "Artist of the Six Weeks"! There are always ways you can help out in the art room! Please contact Mrs. Bates to see how you can be involved in making this a wonderful, colorful, creative year!
