Our congratulations to our Band Hawks on a successful marching band season and run to the 2018 UIL State Marching Contest! Hawk Nation is extremely proud of you.
Oct. 9: Hendrickson High School has advanced to the 2018 UIL State Marching Contest, taking place Nov. 5-7 at the Alamodome in San Antonio.
Hendrickson competed in the Class 6A Area D Marching Contest for Class 6A schools, Saturday, Oct. 27 at Heroes Stadium in San Antonio.
The Hawks were one of 10 band programs advancing from Area D to state, finishing fifth overall.

Each Pflugerville ISD high school band program scored a Division I rating at UIL regional marching competition this past weekend.
Connally, Hendrickson, Pflugerville and Weiss high schools each received the high marks during the UIL Music Region 26 Marching Contest for Class 5A and 6A schools on Saturday, Oct. 20 at Round Rock ISD Reeves Athletic Complex.
Hendrickson advances to the Area D Marching Contest for Class 6A schools, Saturday, Oct. 27 at Heroes Stadium in San Antonio.
Area marching band competition alternates between classifications annually. Class 4A and 6A compete at Area and State levels this year, while Class 3A and 5A compete at those levels next year.
Connally, Pflugerville and Weiss are 5A schools.
Hendrickson is scheduled to compete at 2 p.m. Saturday. Area D finals begin at 7:30 p.m. that day.

In related news, PfISD hosts the Area D Marching Contest for Class 4A high schools Saturday at The Pfield. No Pflugerville ISD schools will compete.
