State accountability ratings have been suspended for 2012, as the State transitions between the Texas Assessment of Knowledge Skills (TAKS) and the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR). First ratings under the new accountability system will be issued in 2013.
In order to assist in the transition between the Texas Assessments of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) and STAAR, the Texas Education Agency created a phase-in period for the STAAR performance standards. The first four columns provide results based on the 2012 Level II Satisfactory and Level III Advanced Academics Phase-In Standards set by TEA. The last two columns apply the 2016 Final Recommended Level II Satisfactory performance standards to 2012 results.
