Pre-AP summer reading assignment
These books are great reads, whether you are going into Pre-AP language arts or not. If signed up for Pre-AP language arts, you must read one of the books on the 6th grade list and be prepared to do an assignment with it when you return in the fall.
Middle School Summer Reading List and Notes This is the district's information about the summer reading requirement with the list of books to choose from. At the end of the list, there is a graphic organizer for book notes, which is required by PMS. It would be helpful to use even if you are going to another PfISD middle school.
6th Grade Pre-AP Reading Choices This file gives overviews of the books on the district list and a link to the current Lone Star list (like the Bluebonnets, but for middle school). This will be a great help in choosing your book! Students must login with their student email to view this file.
Teacher website and phone list Grade levels have posted their websites where you can access learning materials. Teachers have started adding work-from-home phone numbers to help you get in contact with them.
